Ooh... Tuesday Tipple: Apple, Elderflower and Vodka Frost

Remember when Mr Frosty Slush maker was your favourite toy?

Why did we think we were so cool making crushed ice drinks for our friends?  Now all grown-up, there's still nothing more refreshing than a frozen drink and I hope even Mr Frosty himself would approve of this tipple! A great and fast alternative to an appletini.....

My Apple, Elderflower and Vodka Frost


Ingredients

150ml Apple and Elderflower Presse
1 measure Vodka
1 slice of apple

 Method

Pour the apple and elderflower presse into a suitable tub to freeze and pop in freezer for a couple of hours until slightly frozen.

Give it a stir and return to the freezer.

Once fully frozen (I'd leave it overnight), blitz in a liquidizer to create a slush.

Add 1 measure of vodka and blitz for just a few seconds to mix.

Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of apple.... and the ever dependable umbrella if you have one spare!
